Open House

Come to the Foster Parent Open House this April

You’ll get a great overview of fostering and what it takes to become a foster parent, because you’ll be sitting in while actual foster parents as well as foster-parents-in-training meet to discuss any challenges they are facing and share advice with one another. Afterwards, they’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about fostering an Ashtabula child. REGISTER HERE.

Foster to Foster Parents

Tami helps foster Foster Parents

When you foster an Ashtabula child, you're never alone. Along with the caseworker, you have Tami Santiago, Foster Parent Liason. If you have any questions or concerns, or just aren't sure how to handle a situation with your foster child, you can call or text Tami anytime. She's already fostered over 90 Ashtabula children, herself -- she'll know how to help.

Tiffany

Telling family and friends about your decision to foster a child.

Tiffany Green is single -- and a Foster Parent! Maybe you're single, too, and thinking about fostering an Ashtabula kid who could really use someone like you -- but you're also wondering what your friends and family would think. Listen to Tiffany's experience ....

Tami talks Respite Fostering

A great way
to try out foster parenting.

Want to become a foster parent, but concerned about the time commitment? Then try ‘part-time’ fostering as one of our 'Respite Fosters’. Respite Fosters step in for regular fosters when they need to be out of town, or just need a break. Listen as Tami describes her experience with Respite Fostering...
